Ereaders: the act of a culture rejection

I will never be a fan of this electronic book revolution. It is replacing the very hardcover adventures that used to pave the way for new minds filled with imagination. I personally can’t stand the idea of never being able to touch, smell, or see the ink blotted words on every page of a written masterpiece bound by a spine covered in glue. I can’t think of a life lacking the works of my favorite writers because they aren’t the mainstream or because they make people unhappy, god forbid people have their own thoughts for once. We let what’s popular in our culture determine what we want an what we buy. Why can’t we have our own opinions on how the economic trends are supposed to work. Some things should be left in the dark ages. The best writing was done by dark souls leading by candlelight placing their dreams on paper for others to understand in their own way. Now we have things read to us and given to us via our cell phones, nooks, kindles and various other forms of mindless electronic controllers. When will we take back the paper and use the pen to write our stories. How will our generation be remembered? By kindles and emails, or by real people taking the time to speak their minds? I beg you to keep real paper sheets in books, not hardrives. Real ink in them too, not pixels. I bid thee well my fare audience. Adieu

What is my life?

I’m caught in the middle of an absolute mess. What am I supposed to do to help her? My friend is sitting here bawling because she is stuck between two amazing guys while I am supposed to pity her about her current predicament. There’s apparently Jacob and Holden crying for her attention. She basks in there company as if nothing were of consequence. Let you be the wiser that she is with Holden and loves him dearly. She met Jacob on a cruise a couple of months ago yet have only managed to talk this past week. Excuse me for not feeling bad for her situation because she put herself there. Oh apathy I salute you and empathy… To hell for today. Goodnight all.
